Use Product groups when each color or style has its own Shopify product listing. For example, group the black, blue, and green versions of the same shirt. On a product page, shoppers can select a swatch to visit another product in the group.
If the colors are variants within one Shopify product, follow Set up variant swatches instead.
Create the group
Open Product groups in Color Swatches.
Select Create group, or Create first group if your list is empty.
Enter a Title, such as
Linen shirt. This helps you find the group in the app.Enter an Option name, such as
Color. This is the label displayed above the swatches on your storefront.Under Products, select Browse, choose the products you want to connect, and confirm your selection. You can also use Search products to find them.
Create one group for each set of products shoppers should switch between. For example, put all colors of the linen shirt in one group and all colors of a different shirt in another.
Set up the swatches
For each product in the group:
Enter a Swatch name, such as
BlackorBlue. You can select an existing swatch from the suggestions.Choose how it should look. Use Product image for a product photo, One Color for a solid color, or Custom image for an uploaded pattern or detail.
Choose the color or upload the image if the selected type needs one.

Drag the handle beside each product to arrange the swatches in the order you want, then select Save.
Show the group on your storefront
Follow Enable swatches in your theme to install the widgets in the theme you use.
After the group finishes syncing, open one of its product pages and check the swatches. For collection cards, follow Show swatches on collection pages.
To make changes later, open the group from Product groups, edit it, and select Save again.
